The video training modules are as follows:

Introduction

The module introduces the training and provides and overview of the material.

Module 1

The module discusses the vision and principles of the INFORM approach. We also touch on objectives, uses and the rationale for developing an INFORM Subnational risk model.

Module 2

The module shares knowledge on how to manage the INFORM subnational process. An INFORM risk model is much more than simply data. Buy in, participation and partnership are essential to the methodology. This module explained the process and provided actionable steps to ensure local ownership and buy-in. We also discuss practical elements like resourcing and how to determine if an INFORM risk model is right for your context.

Module 3

The module gets technical. We share the mindset, skills and specific steps required to process raw data into a complete INFORM Subnational risk model. This includes an overview of risk, the components of the model and the tools and templates required to finish and share the model. Sample data and templates for module 3 can be found below

Module 4

The module discusses how to promote the model. Doing good work is not enough. INFORM partners need to advocate with the humanitarian, development communities and governments to demonstrate the benefits of the model and ensure that all partners understand the process and opportunity that INFORM provides.

Module 5

The module shares practical examples on how to use INFORM models in decision making and planning exercises using real-life scenarios. We’ll walk you through examples of how INFORM is used across the world and demonstrate how we can link INFORM to existing processes to improve contextual awareness and service delivery.
