Results and data

INFORM Severity results are open and available in Excel format. The Index is updated every month and can be used for trend analysis.

The results are provided by crisis. Each crisis is categorised on a five-level scale from very low to very high severity.
It is also possible to access the values for different levels of the analytical framework, to better understand the main drivers of a crisis. All the underlying data, metadata and methodology are publicly available.

Here you can download all the releases of the INFORM Severity Index. The Excel sheet contains all the source data and the calculation steps for functional levels, categories and dimensions.

As of the February 2026 release, INFORM Severity implements an updated methodology, rescaling scores to a 0–10 range while maintaining the 5-level classification of crisis severity.
